Creative Strings Workshop Asheville 2027 (Early Bird Deposit)

Celebrate 25 years of Creative Strings Workshops!

Join Christian Howes & friends in Asheville, July 4–9, 2027. We’re consolidating to one week, with 50 participants expected, for technique, improvisation, performance, and musical connection in a supportive environment.

The full 2027 faculty bill will be announced. Expected faculty include Camille Vogley-Howes, Karl Henry, Chris Tate, Jason Anick, Austin Scelzo, and more; participation is subject to confirmation.

Early bird tuition: $999 (regular tuition: $1,299). Your $250 deposit counts toward tuition, leaving a $749 balance due May 1, 2027.

Housing and meals are separate. Last year’s rates were $130 per room per night, $200 for all meals, or $150 for lunch and dinner. We expect 2027 rates to be very close; final rates and arrangements will be announced. Dinners on two concert evenings are on your own.

Deposits are non-refundable except if the organizers cancel the event. Credit for future events may be granted in extenuating circumstances at the organizer’s discretion.
