Contribute any amount that feels right for you.
Creative Strings received a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to bring back our youth classroom Zoom clinics this school year.
These were popular during the COVID pandemic, and many teachers have asked for us to bring them back.
Our hope is to make them a regular offering going forward, and in order to do this, it just requires your participation:)
Who is it For?
1.MS and HS Orchestra classrooms
2.Homeschool study groups
3. Teachers, students, youth and adults (literally anyone) can participate who wishes to enjoy a youth-friendly play-along practice experience tailored to specific playing levels.
4. You can Sponsor our efforts by donating via the link below, even if you're not attending. All donations are charitable and tax deductible.
Each class we provide will be tailored to the level requested bu the Host teacher for that class. As long as you or students fit within that general range of ability, you will likely find it to be productive and enjoyable. All classes will be family-friendly, i.e. catered to young audiences.
For example, if our host teacher on a given day teaches grades 6-8, we will teach the class for this level, and anyone else is welcome to join the class based on the level. The host teacher will be able to request certain customizations and lead any Q and A.
Students will play the entire time, muted on Zoom, and can have cameras on or off.
To reserve your place:
1. Name your amount below and you will receive a link to the Zoom room where the class will be held.
2. Or email chris@christianhowes.com to name the amount you wish to pay, and we will prepare a custom invoice for you/ your school.
3. If you cannot afford any amount, email us and we will provide it to you at no cost.
Amounts donated by schools for classes have ranged from Zero(free) to $600.
